For home learning this week:
Reading - Try to read your reading book or another text daily and sign your reading record when you do. You can read your school books or other books that you might have at home.
Spellings - This week our sound is 'ea’. There are also two spellings each week which are Year 1 common exception words and need to be learnt by sight rather than applying a rule. There will be a test next Monday in a little blue book that are currently at school. The books will be returned home so you can see how you got on! Please make sure that you put the book back in the reading folder so that it's ready for each Monday morning.
Phonics - we are working on Phase 5. Our new sound is ea. You can practise spotting them, hide the sounds at home and play a game or play buried treasure (Phase 5) on Phonics play.
You can complete any tasks from the Autumn 1 enrichment grid.
