For home learning this week:
Reading - Try to read your reading book or another text daily and sign your reading record when you do. You can read your school books or other books that you might have at home.
Spellings - This week we will be continuing with split vowel digraphs, working on 'i_e' and 'o_e'. Please see parent sheet below for more information. There are also two Year 1 common exception words that need to be learnt by sight rather than applying a rule. Please remember to keep this book in your child's reading folder so that it's ready for each Monday morning.
Phonics - You can practise this week's sounds 'i_e' and 'o_e' by spotting them in words, hide the sounds at home and play a game or play buried treasure (Phase 5) on Phonics play.
There is a new enrichment grid (Autumn 2) and you can choose any task from this to complete each week.
