What would you do if you were king or queen for a day?
Write some sentences about what you would do. It can be anything! You could get on jet and fly to a hot country and swim in a lovely pool. You could play video games all day and eat McDonalds.
'If I was ______________ for a day, I would...' is the beginning of your sentence. Don't forgot to use finger spaces, full stops and capital letters. As a challenge, you can use describing words and 'and' in your sentences.
Phonics
Try reading some Phase 5 comics on Phonics Play comics and use your sounds to help!
Maths
Looking at all of the ways that you can make numbers up to 50. Try sorting out the pictures, numbers and words into the right rows so they match. You can play on ICT games Maths games with the place value pieces and practise making numbers up to 50.

Have a look at the set of instructions I have made. I have my real instructions and I have one that is all jumbled up that needs fixing. You can match some of the pictures to the instructions as well.
As a challenge, you can try writing an instruction that would fit or rewrite another version of an instruction.
Phonics
Practise reading your Phase 2, 3 and 5 sounds by playing one of the free games on Phonics Play.
Maths
We are looking at one more and one less of numbers to 50. You can play 'Chopper Squad' on Top Marks to practise finding one more and one less. You can try the activity sheet for one more and one less and make your own numbers with things from home too.

Try writing a list for things you would need to make a fruit salad. You can write a list that uses bullet points. You can use the word mat to help with spellings. You can challenge yourself by using describing words in your list.

Try reading the Phase 5 yes and no questions. Will the answer be yes or no? You can try making your own questions using your Phase 5 sounds.
Maths
Have a look at the activity sheet saved below. Pick two cards and compare using the <, > and = in between. We have used these lots at school so hopefully we can do this easily! The > likes the biggest number or amount. You can use the picture sheet or you can make your own numbers using objects from home.
Geography
We are looking at human and physical features of the UK. There is an activity sheet and I have saved a BBC bitesize link as well.

Practise writing some instructions. You can write instructions about making a fruit salad or something that you could instruct someone to do at home. You could write 'Cut the apple' or you could write 'Jump up and down 3 times'. Once you have written it, you can underline the verb (doing word) in a different colour.

You can watch one of the Phonics hunt video on the school website under Year 1. I have added a link below. Can you spot all of the sounds? Can you write them down?
Maths
After comparing objects yesterday, today you are going to compare numbers within 50. You can make your own number cards and compare or you can complete the activity. I have added some mastery cards as well.
