The show and tell group this week is RED group. If you are in RED group, you can bring a show and tell in on Wednesday to share with your friends. It could be something that comes in your bag or it could be sent in via Tapestry to be shared on the screen.

We will hopefully visit the library this week as Mrs O'Connell was very busy last week. We can return old books and hopefully pop into the library at some point this week.

For home learning this week:

Reading - Try to read your reading book or another text daily and sign your reading record when you do. You can read your school books or other books that you might have at home.

Spellings - Our new Phase 5 topic will be the focus of our spellings this week. There will be 4 words to learn with an -s and -es at the end as a suffix. There are 2 words that are Year 1 common exception words that need to be learnt by sight rather than applying a rule. There will be a test on next Monday in our little blue spelling books.

Phonics - the children were AMAZING last week with their Phonics last week and we will still be revising our Phase 3 and 5 sounds over the last few weeks of Year 1. Keep having a lot at our sounds at home when you can :)
