There will be no spelling patterns to learn over the half term as the children will be tested on some of the Year 1 common exception words on Monday 1st November. Common exception words are words that don't follow the usual spelling rules and the children are familiar with them as they have been taught them in Year 1. We have also focused heavily on them throughout the first half term in Year 2. These can be found in the spelling folder on the class page.
