If your child requires medication during school time, we would ask where possible that you give it to them before they arrive at school. If this is not possible, or medicine administration is required during the school day, please complete a form for administering medication – either long or short term depending on the requirements. Forms are available on the school website, “Parents”, “Form Downloads”.
Medicine cannot be administered to a child unless the appropriate forms have been completed, and medicine should be in its original packaging with prescription labels if appropriate.
There is a separate form for administering inhalers for asthma.
For ongoing medical issues, a HCP (Health Care Plan) will need to be completed, in conjunction with the Inclusion Manager.
