Writing
Complete the following writing tasks:
Fiction
Roll a setting using the 'settings dice' to write a story. You might like to have a go at writing more than one story. Remember to plan your story first with a clear beginning, middle and ending. Does your story have a problem that can be solved?
Poetry
After you have read the poem, follow the instructions on the activity sheet to change the words of the poem. If you wanted something extra, you could follow the pattern to write your own poem about a friend or family member.
Non-Fiction
Read and follow the instructions to create your own spooky skeleton. As you are reading, look out for the important features of instructions that we have practised in class. Can you find the numbered points? How many verbs can you see? Then have a go at writing your own set of instructions for something that you have made or baked. If you haven't made of baked anything recently, you could try writing a set of instructions for how to brush your teeth or make your bed.
